Ouch!

Well, remember how Colin was going through his "Big Brother Admiration" phase? That may be somewhat subdued now, as last night Caleb and Colin were playing on the trampoline and somehow Caleb landed on top of Colin and, well, we ended up in the Emergency Room for 2 hours with a buckle fracture! Poor little guy - he's pretty miserable, didn't sleep much last night... Say a prayer for him and for Caleb too, who is feeling guilty, even though it was just an accident.
For all of you veteran moms out there, anyone got any creative ideas on helping him (and me) cope? :-)

Too funny...

I may have already told some of you this story, but it was too cute not to blog about. A couple of weeks ago we were watching Pretty Woman as we cleaned up the house. At one point, Julia Roberts walked across the screen and Duane said to Colin, "Hey Colin, do you think she's cute" To which he automatically responded, "No Daddy, Mom's cute, SHE's AWESOME!"
Oh dear...

Sweet boys

Colin is definitely going through a phase of "Big Brother Adoration" - he insists on only holding Caleb's hand when we cross the street, and anything Caleb does is golden in his eyes! While Caleb does get annoyed by it sometimes, there are some moments when he basks in the glory!

Our Athletic Girl

Clarissa is keeping us busy with her sports - right now she is the star of her soccer team (she scored 3 goals yesterday!) and their team is currently undefeated!
She had been taking a small gymnastics class, but the instructor took me aside a few weeks ago and said that she really needed to be in a more professional program. So, off to First City Gymnastics we go!
She had to try out for their pre-team gymnastics program, which she was accepted into. So, it's off to the other side of town for two 2-hour sessions every week. We'll see how it goes - but she is so excited, and we are so proud of her!

Colin's new look

Well, After a few tears, I think Colin likes his new haircut! Not only is it MUCH cooler and easier to take care of, but I think the little buzz cut actually fits his personality! All of a sudden he looks so grown up... no more babies in the house...
