Wow that week went fast! I'm so glad I now have an alert on my phone that reminds me to do the Hodgepodge, otherwise I would have totally forgotten in this week! :-) (And if you are reading this, please leave me a comment at the end... they make me smile!)
1. The Wednesday Hodgepodge this week falls on John Chapman's birth date. He's more famously known as Johnny Appleseed...what's your favorite variety of apple?
Honeycrisp... oh, if only they weren't so darn expensive! (And I have my friend Erika to thank for turning me on to these delicious apples... hi friend!)
2. When did you last say 'ick'?
Ok - are you ready for your full body shudder moment? Yesterday morning I got up and made my coffee. I got our my bottle of creamer, noting that my amazing mother-in-law had bought me a new bottle, but I thought I would use up the old one before opening the new. So I poured in the creamer and put it back into the fridge. As I turned back to my coffee to stir it in, I saw a black "thing" floating in my coffee. Immediately I got the creamer bottle out and looked inside, and there was MOLD in my CREAMER!!!!! Insert FULL BODY SHUDDER!!!!!
Needless to say, I dumped my entire cup of coffee down the drain... and the rest of the creamer bottle... and opened up the new that my amazing MIL had bought.
Also needless to say I did NOT choose to dwell on the fact that this was the FIRST time in 3 weeks that I had gotten my own coffee (recovering from surgery, remember?) so WHO KNOWS how long the creamer had been getting wonky. (Insert another full body shudder here). Nope, I'm choosing to believe that it had just turned that morning. Do not correct me on this... I can't take much more.
3. Do you think there's a generation gap? Explain.
Well of course there is - how could there not be? The world changes so fast, especially now days... but I believe that core morals and values remain the same.
4. What's on your computer screen saver? Do you leave it alone or change it often?
My screen saver is a random slideshow of our family photos. I leave it alone - because truthfully I love the trips down memory lane each photo brings... my babies, who aren't such babies any more. Sigh.
5. If you had the attention of the entire world for two minutes, what would you say?
6. Four fashion trends to try this fall are-brocade/jacquard (fancy printed fabrics), peplum, lace, and printed pants...which of these four would you be most likely to wear?
7. What can make your bad day better?
A hug from my husband. (And extra kudos - tonight he came home and saw that I had had a rough day, and HE suggested we watch "You've Got Mail" - one of my all time favorite chick flicks that he can't stand, but he knew I would love and would make me happy... gush... I love this man!)

So.... does anyone out there have the new iPhone 5 yet? If so, leave me your opinions... is it worth the upgrade? Or would I be just as happy with the iPhone 4s? (my phone is dying, so I know I need a new one - a new battery would cost more than a new phone... stupid, I know - but anyway, I'm trying to figure out which new one to get when we upgrade in a few months)

Oh dear me... honestly, not any of them... but if I had to choose, well, actually right now I'm wearing a really cute (and comfy!) t-shirt that just has a simple lace cutout in the back along the neckline. I'm not describing it well... It's kinda like this:
